Tamar Valley Preschool meets in both Calstock Village Hall, a lovely bright hall with an outside play area, complete with stunning views towards woodland and the viaduct and at Calstock Community Primary School. We would love to welcome you to our special and friendly group.   Our vision is to provide a safe and stimulating environment, where all children are valued as individuals, can gain a sense of self-worth, achieve their full potential and can be happy, healthy and learn through play. We celebrate and value different cultures, and encourage and appreciate moral values.

Safe, caring and stimulating environment

Tamar Valley Pre-school strives to promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment, in which all children flourish and reach their full potential. The main ethos of our pre-school is building the independence and confidence skills needed for life and school. We do this by learning through play and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We are an OFSTED ‘outstanding’ provider (OFSTED report) We have Local Education Authority funded places for 3-year-olds and eligible 2-year-olds. We meet on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday during term time at Calstock Village Hall. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we enjoy forest school activities at Calstock Primary School.
